Fortune reports that with the AMP platform, launched in October, the company hopes to be that service that will empower bands to see their listeners' locations and other detailed data about fans, helping musicians plan their tours. With the announcement of Pandora's Artist Audio Messaging, the Pandora plan is fleshed out even further.
