Pandora is launching a pilot test this week allowing musicians to send personalized audio messages to their listeners. Pandora founder Tim Westergren announced the new initiative at the Code/Media Conference, reports re/code. The messaging service now only includes a small number of artists, Westergren gave Lenny Kravitz as one example, but also noted that the service will expand to other artists once the pilot program has concluded.
