A new two-year agreement between SAG-AFTRA represented members of NPR and the public radio giant was overwhelmingly approved. The deal will give members a two and half percent pay increase at the start of the next two years, will retain overtime pay, seven percent of pay going toward a retirement plan, and NPR paying 70 percent of health care coverage. The union agreement covers 400 NPR employees.
