kinosianmikePPM Analysis: Mainstream Rock.  RadioInfo managing editor Mike Kinosian presents the second of three analyses of the performances of rock-formatted stations based on data from Nielsen Audio's June 2016 PPM survey.  Yesterday, we published a report on alternative rock.  Today's installment focuses on mainstream or active rock.  In the PPM markets, there are eight stations that rank in the top five (6+) in their respective markets, led by Emmis' KSHE, St. Louis – the only rock outlet to rank #1 in June.  In this report, see a chart detailing stations' AQH shares over the past six surveys, and one comparing the performances of rock and alternative stations in their markets.  Check it out here.
CBS RADIO Names Danie B PM Drive Host at '101.9 AMP Radio' in Orlando.  Most recently with Albany Broadcasting's hip hop WAJZ "JAMZ 96.3 FM" hosting morning drive, Danie B moves south to Orlando to joindanieb wqmpCBS RADIO's CHR WQMP "101.9 AMP Radio" as host of the 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm show.  Program director Dennis Martinez says, "Danie B has an infectious energy and personality.  I was drawn to Danie's ability to create and execute an entertaining program.  She is a welcome addition to the 'AMP' family."  She's also served with 6 Johnson Road Licenses' CHR WZRT, Rutland, Vermont "Z97.1" and was a weekend personality with WODS, Boston "103.3 AMP Radio."
