TWELVE TAKEAWAYS
1)
Portland – Results from the
April 2016 sweep placed KINK at #16 (6+). In a dramatic and relatively sudden turn of events,
however, the
Alpha Media triple A notched a full-share increase in May to climb to #12 and now outdoes that with a +1.1, rocketing all the way to #5 (3.0 – 4.0 – 5.1, 6+). Displaying gains of one-half share each are
Entercom country and classic rock siblings KWJJ "Great Country for the Great Northwest 99.5 The Wolf" (in third-place for the sixth straight sweep, 6+) and KGON (4.4 – 4.9, eighth
to sixth, 6+). This is the third successive increase for "The Wolf" yielding a cumulative +1.0 (5.5 – 5.6 – 6.0 – 6.5, 6+). Coming off a +1.2 in
March, country rival – Alpha Media's KUPL "The Bull" – was up a combined eight-tenths in April and May but falters by four-tenths in June (4.5 – 4.7 – 5.3 – 4.9, 6+). "The Bull" drops from fifth to a three-way tie at sixth, which includes KGON. Prior to the +1.2 in March, "The Bull" had four consecutive monthlies without an increase that produced a combined -2.3 (5.6 – 4.8 – 3.4 – 3.4 – 3.3, 6+). Steady at #14,
Salem Media Group regional Mexican KRYP is either up or flat for the sixth consecutive time for a net gain of nine-tenths (2.8 – 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.5 – 3.5 – 3.6 – 3.7, 6+). Finishing fourth for the fifth time in a row,
iHeartMedia mainstream CHR KKRZ "Z-100" is either up or flat for the seventh consecutive time for a cumulative +1.2 (4.2 – 4.4 – 4.8 – 4.9 – 5.3 – 5.3 – 5.4 – 5.4, 6+). While it is #1 for the
24th time in the last
26 ratings periods, adult contemporary sibling KKCW "K-103" suffers the greatest 6+ May 2016 – June 2016 erosion (8.7 – 7.1,
-1.6, 6+) by any station in the 36
PPM markets whose data has been released. Moreover, this is the lowest 6+-share for "K-103" in two years (6.6, June 2014). By dialing up a one-tenth gain in May, KKCW ended four straight sweeps without an increase (21.4 – 9.5 – 8.8 – 8.6 – 8.6, 6+). Its 2.3-share lead in May over
Oregon Public Broadcasting's KOPB is whittled down to four-tenths as KOPB – which was a combined
-1.6 in April and May (8.0 – 7.3 – 6.4, 6+) – picks up three-tenths to 6.7 (6+). Winding back to the "Holiday" 2015 report, "K-103" enjoyed a
16.1 lead over KOPB (21.4 versus 5.3, 6+). Declining by one-half share each are "K-103" cluster-mate KPOJ "Rip City Sports Radio 620" (.9 – .4, #25, 6+) and Salem Media Group contemporary Christian KFIS "104.1 The Fish" (2.5, #17 to #18, 6+). "The Fish" had been up or flat the past three sweeps (2.6 – 2.8 – 2.8 – 3.0, 6+), while KPOJ has its lowest 6+-share since October (also .4).
2)
Charlotte – On the heels of a +1.1 in May,
iHeartMedia classic rocker WRFX "The Fox" adds another six-tenths (6.0 – 7.1 –
7.7, 6+) and repeats at #1; 7.7 is the strongest 6+-share for "The Fox" since August 2014 (also 7.7). Jumping from ninth to fifth,
Beasley Media Group urban contemporary WPEG "Power 98" follows up a +.8 in May with a one-half share increase (4.7 – 5.2, 6+). The +.8 in May by "Power 98" curtailed five straight sweeps
without an increase that resulted in a combined -1.6 (5.5 – 5.4 – 5.1 – 4.6 – 4.2 – 3.9, 6+). Returning approximately one-half of the hefty +1.1 it registered in May (5.9 – 7.0 – 6.4,
-.6, 6+), iHeartMedia country outlet WKKT "The Kat" nonetheless remains at #2, where it is joined by its rival – Beasley Media Group-owned WSOC "Country's Greatest Hits" (6.6 – 6.4, -.2, 6+). "Country's Greatest Hits" occupied the #1 spot the first four months of this year before dropping to third-place in May. Owing to a +.3 in
April, "The Kat" curtailed seven consecutive trends without an increase that yielded a cumulative
-4.2 (9.8 – 9.6 – 8.8 – 8.5 – 5.9 – 5.7 – 5.6, 6+). After holding down third-place the previous five sweeps, "The Kat" climbed to second this time last month. Off by one-half share to 4.6 – its lowest 6+-share since May 2015 (also 4.6), Beasley Media Group adult contemporary WKQC "K-104.7 More Music Better Variety" drifts from a three-way tie at #6 to #9. Down one-tenth (5.9 – 5.8, 6+) and remaining in fourth-place, urban AC sibling WBAV extends its streak of registering a 6+-share in 5.1 – 5.9 range to 11 straight ratings periods. It remains a tight CHR contest as iHeartMedia's WHQC "Channel 96.1" picks up four-tenths and is steady at #10, while Beasley Media Group-owned WNKS "Kiss 95.1″ improves by three tenths to 3.9 (6+), climbing from #12 to #11. Prior to its +.4, Channel 96.1" was down or flat the past four sweeps (4.4 – 4.3 – 3.8 – 3.7 – 3.7, 6+). Following five consecutive gains for a +1.7 (3.6 – 3.7 – 4.3 – 4.6 – 5.2 – 5.3, 6+)
Greater Media hot AC-talk hybrid WLNK "The Link" flounders by four-tenths to 4.9 (6+) to fall from fifth to eighth.
3)
Pittsburgh – Appearing in print for the first time since February 2012,
Renda Broadcasting adult contemporary
WSHH "Wish 99.7" surfaces at #7 with a 5.8 (6+). Three consecutive major increases by
CBS Radio's KDKA-FM "The Fan" produce a cumulative +2.7 (4.8 – 5.9 – 6.8 – 7.5, 6+) as the
Pittsburgh Pirates' flagship advances from fifth to third; 7.5 is the highest 6+-stat for "The Fan" since October's 10.1. Owing to
April's
-.8 (after a
+.9 in
March), co-owned country WDSY "Y-108" had its consecutive string of progressive trends ended at
three (3.9 – 4.5 – 4.9 – 5.8 – 5.0, 6+), but "Pittsburgh's Country" (unchanged at #6) bounces back with a combined +1.2 in May and June (5.0 – 5.7 – 6.2, 6+). After seven successive sweeps without a decrease for a net +1.8 (2.5 – 2.5 – 2.6 – 2.7 – 3.2 – 3.9 – 3.9 – 4.3, 6+),
iHeartMedia's WPGB "Big 104.7 #1 for New Country" dips by two-tenths to 4.1 (6+) and departs the top ten (#10 to #11). While it is #1 for the fifth successive ratings period, classic hits-oldies sibling WWSW "3WS" has back-to-back negative trends totaling -1.2 (10.9 – 10.9 – 9.7, 6+). Without a decrease for the fourth straight monthly (3.8 – 4.1 – 4.6 – 5.6 – 5.6, 6+), co-owned alternative WXDX nonetheless backslides from seventh to eighth; 5.6 in May and June is the highest 6+-share for "The X @ 105.9" in more than four years (6.2, April 2012). Off for the fifth straight time for a combined -4.2 and a nearly one-half 6+-erosion (8.8 – 8.2 – 6.9 – 6.0 – 4.9 – 4.6, 6+), CBS Radio talker KDKA-AM drops from eighth to ninth.
4)
Sacramento – An increase of one-half share (6.6 – 7.1, 6+) enables
CBS Radio adult contemporary KYMX "Mix 96" to
advance from third – where it was the past four sweeps – to a second-place tie with
iHeartMedia news-talk hybrid KFBK. It is the strongest 6+-performance by "Mix" since January's 9.0, while KFBK is down for the third time in a row (9.1 – 7.8 – 7.4 – 7.1, 6+) for a net loss of -2.7. "Mix 96" hot AC cluster-mate KZZO "Now
100.5″ (fifth to fourth) picks up three-tenths to 4.9 (6+), thus halting three successive negative trends (5.0 – 5.0 – 4.9 – 4.6, 6+). Unchanged at #7,
Entercom CHR KDND "107.9 The End" is up or flat for the third straight time (3.6 – 4.0 – 4.3 – 4.3, 6+). "Mix" and KFBK are 2.3 shares (6+) behind Entercom classic rocker KSEG "The Eagle" (9.4, -.4, 6+), the market frontrunner for the fifth straight ratings period. When "The Eagle" faltered by eight-tenths in May, it witnessed an end to three consecutive increases (8.9 – 9.0 – 9.5 – 10.6, 6+) that netted a combined +1.7. Prior to the April 2016 sweep (when "The Eagle" soared to
10.6, 6+), the only other instances of a Sacramento outlet achieving double-digits (6+) were "Mix 96" (
11.7) and KSEG (
10.0). Stumbling from fourth to sixth is "Eagle" cluster-mate KRXQ "98 Rock," which declines by one-half share (5.1 – 4.5, 6+). Without a decrease the past five ratings periods (.9 – .9 – .9 – 1.0 – 1.0 – 1.2, 6+),
Capital Public Radio classical KXPR regresses by three-tenths to .9 (#21 to #23). Dating back to January – and including its current June stat – the 6+-line for
Entravision-owned country KNTY is 2.2 – 2.3 – 2.3 – 2.2 – 2.2 – 2.3; "101.9 The Wolf" remains at #17. Ahead of it are fellow country outlets CBS Radio's KNCI "New Country 105.1" (4.3 – 4.6, +.3, seventh to fifth, 6+) and iHeartMedia's KBEB "B-92.5 #1 For New Country" (3.3 – 3.0, -.3, flat at #12).
5)
San Antonio – Even with a gain of six-tenths (4.5 – 5.1, 6+),
Cox Media Group's KISS "99.5 Rocks San Antonio" cannot
seem to avoid three-way ties as it advances to one at #8 in May to a similar situation at #5 in June. After being up or flat in four consecutive sweeps (7.8 – 8.4 – 9.0 – 9.0 – 9.1, 6+), classic hits-oldies sibling KONO-FM faltered by seven-tenths in May but regains three-tenths (8.4 – 8.7, 6+) and is #1 for the sixth straight sweep. Before
dropping from first to second in the "Holiday" 2015 report, KONO-FM was #1 in 17 of the previous 22 sweeps. The 9.1 it registered in April is the loftiest 6+-share for "San Antonio's Greatest Hits" in more than six years (9.2, March 2010). While neither displays May – June growth (6+), country rivals KCYY and KAJA are again inseparable at #2 and #3, respectively. Specifically, Cox Media Group's "Y-100" drops one-tenth to 6.2 (6+), while iHeartMedia's "KJ-97" rings up a 5.4 (6+) for the third time in the last four sweeps. These two country rivals are typically within close 6+-share/rank proximity but "Y-100" has managed to win 14 of the last 15 head-to-head battles. Locked on 1.5 (6+) in April and May,
Alpha Media regional Mexican KLEY (#24) sputters by seven-tenths to .8, its weakest 6+-showing in roughly two years (.6 in July 2014). The similarly formatted HD3 side channel of iHeartMedia's KQXT drops one-half share (2.4 – 1.9), dipping from #15 to #17. Six straight increases since December by Alpha Media adult hits KJXK accounted for a combined
+2.4 (2.6 – 2.7 – 3.1 – 3.8 – 4.1 – 4.4 – 5.0, 6+) but San Antonio's version of "Jack" falters by two-tenths to 4.8 (6+), stumbling from a fifth-place tie to eighth. The 5.0 in May was the strongest 6+-performance for "Jack" in nearly four years (5.3, August 2012).
6)
Cincinnati – On the heels of posting a one-half share gain in May,
iHeartMedia talker WKRC adds seven-tenths (3.5 – 4.0 –
4.7, 6+) to progress from tenth to eighth; 4.7 is the loftiest 6+-share for WKRC since December 2013 when it reached 5.0. Also notching a seven-tenths spike is
Hubbard Broadcasting rhythmic hot AC WREW "Mix 94.9" (4.6 – 5.3, seventh to fifth, 6+), which has its best 6+-stat since last October (5.4). Without a
decrease in the last six ratings periods,
Cumulus Media country outlet WNNF "94.1 Nash FM" (#14 to #12) is a combined +1.2 in that stretch (1.9 – 1.9 – 2.0 – 2.4 – 2.5 – 2.6 – 3.1, 6+). Conversely, Hubbard Broadcasting's WYGY "97.3 The Wolf" – unchanged at #18 – has its fourth straight (albeit modest) decline (1.7 – 1.5 – 1.4 – 1.3 – 1.2, 6+). "Nash FM" and "The Wolf" are chasing Hubbard's WUBE "B-105," which remains at #3. Commencing with the "Holiday" 2015 report, country "B-105" put together four straight up-trends (5.9 – 6.1 – 7.9 – 8.1 – 8.6, 6+) but is off in back-to-back sweeps by two-tenths each (8.6 – 8.4 – 8.2, 6+). While co-owned hot AC WKRQ "Q-102" holds the #4 spot for the tenth straight time, it follows up May's six-tenths' decline with a -.7 in June (8.1 – 7.5 – 6.8, 6+). The -.6 in May ended four straight positive trends that yielded a combined +1.9 (6.2 – 7.0 – 7.5 – 7.8 – 8.1, 6+). Until a +.8 in January, "Q-102" was without a gain the previous four sweeps (7.2 – 6.8 – 6.8 – 6.7 – 6.2, 6+). Heritage iHeartMedia talker/
Cincinnati Reds flagship WLW is in double-digits (6+) for the
29th successive sweep and at #1 for the sixth time in a row (11.0 – 10.8, -.2, 6+). Within 4.1 – 4.9 range (6+) the past eight survey periods – and flat or (modestly) up the past three (4.1 – 4.1 – 4.2 – 4.3, 6+), rock sibling WEBN sputters by six-tenths to 3.7 (eighth to tenth, 6+). In May, Cumulus Media classic hits-oldies WGRR "103.5 WGRR" flashed a +.9 to 10.3, thus joining WLW, WUBE, and co-owned adult contemporary WRRM as the only Cincinnati stations in the
PPM-era to boast double-digits (6+). Notwithstanding that it coughs up roughly half of that +.9, WGRR remains at #2 (10.3 – 9.8,
-.5, 6+).
Cincinnati Public Radio classical outlet WGUC has its fifth straight negative trend (3.3 – 3.2 – 2.9 – 2.2 – 19 – 1.8, 6+) but remains at #16.
7)
Cleveland – After not suffering a decrease in the previous seven sweeps (4.5 – 4.5 – 4.5 – 4.6 – 4.6 – 4.9 – 4.9 – 5.1, 6+),
iHeartMedia CHR WAKS "96.5 Kiss FM" regressed by one-half share in May but quickly rebounds with a whopping +.9 (4.6 – 5.5, 6+), returning to the top ten (#11 to #9). This is the best 6+-stat for "Kiss" in more than four years (5.6, May 2012). Improving by seven-tenths each are co-owned adult hits WHLK "106.5 The Lake" (third to second, 6+) and
CBS Radio–
owned WNCX "Cleveland's Classic Rock" (6.2 – 6.9, seventh to fifth, 6+). "The Lake" enjoys its fourth straight monthly without a decrease (6.6 – 6.8 – 7.7 – 7.7 – 8.4, 6+) and highest 6+-share since May 2015 (8.7). Steady at #8,
Radio One urban contemporary WENZ improves by six-tenths to 5.8, the strongest 6+-showing for "Z-107.9" in exactly two years (5.9, June 2014). Retaining the top spot for the sixth successive sweep, iHeartMedia-owned WMJI "Cleveland's Greatest Hits" notches its third straight gain for a cumulative +1.0 (10.3 – 10.7 – 10.9 – 11.3, 6+). By posting a +.4 in April, it halted three consecutive downward trends (12.3 – 11.5 – 10.6 – 10.3 – 10.7, 6+); WMJI was #1 for eight straight months before giving way in "Holiday" 2015. Off by eight-tenths in April, CBS Radio sports outlet WKRK rebounded with a +.9 in May only to drop seven-tenths in June (3.2 – 4.1 – 3.4, 6+) but "92.3 The Fan" remains at #12. May's increase put an end to three straight losses for "The Fan," which was -1.7 since January (4.9 – 4.0 – 4.0 – 3.2, 6+). Experiencing losses of one-half share each are co-owned adult contemporary WDOK "Star 102" (7.8 – 7.3, second to fourth, 6+); iHeartMedia rocker WMMS (4.7 – 4.2, #10 to #11, 6+);
Ideastream's WCPN (2.5 – 2.0, flat at #13, 6+); and co-owned classical WCLV (1.7 – 1.2, #14 to #15). WCPN was -.7 in May, while WCLV was +.8.
8)
Salt Lake City – Four-tenths of a share separates the market's top four finishers. Stymied at 5.2 (6+) in April and May,
iHeartMedia-owned KODJ "94.1 Salt Lake's Greatest Hits" absolutely explodes with a +1.4 to 6.6 (6+), zooming from sixth to a first-place tie. KODJ last crossed the six-share threshold (6+) in July 2015 (6.2). Sharing the top spot with "Salt Lake's Greatest Hits" is
Capital Broadcasting hot AC KBZN "Now 97.9 Today's Best
Music, flat at 6.6 (6+). Owing to a +.6 in May, "Now" ended three straight downtrends (6.8 – 6.7 – 6.5 – 6.0, 6+). It recorded a +1.1 in January to stop seven consecutive down or flat sweeps (8.1 – 7.8 – 7.6 – 7.3 – 7.0 – 6.8 – 6.6 – 5.7, 6+). Showing an improvement for the fourth straight sweep, this time by a robust +1.1,
Cumulus Media country outlet KUBL "B-Bull 93 FM" vaults from #11 to #5 (3.6 – 4.1 – 4.2 – 4.4 – 5.5, 6+) and has its finest 6+-share in exactly two years (5.6, June 2014). Seven-tenths has become a common theme for KZHT, given that "Salt Lake's #1 Hit Music Station" was
-.7 in April;
-.7 in May; and
+.7 in June (7.1 – 6.4 – 5.7 – 6.4, 6+). The iHeartMedia CHR segues from a three-way tie in the runner-up slot to sole possession of third-place. Within 5.3 – 5.7 range (6+) the past four sweeps,
Bonneville adult contemporary KSFI "FM 100.3" logs a one-half share increase to 6.2, yet actually falls to #4 from that May three-way logjam at #2. On the heels of an impressive +.8, iHeartMedia's KAAZ "Rock 106.7" relinquishes nearly twice that gain (3.7 – 4.5 – 3.1,
-1.4, 6+) as it departs the top ten (#10 to #13). The last time KAAZ reached the four-share level was nearly two years ago (4.0, July 2014); "Rock 106.7" was up by one-half share in April. Somewhat similarly, following a May increase of six-tenths, rhythmic CHR KUUU "U-92" hands over nine-tenths (1.9, #16 to #18, 6+); "U-92" had been up the past three monthlies (1.7 – 1.9 – 2.2 – 2.8, 6+). Unchanged at #5, Bonneville talker KSL is down or flat for the fifth straight survey period for a combined -1.4 (6. 9 – 6.9 – 6.5 – 6.5 – 5.5 – 5.5, 6+). Over the course of five successive negative trends (5.8 – 5.7 – 5.6 – 5.3 – 5.0 – 4.3, 6+), iHeartMedia's similarly programmed KNRS (seventh to tenth) is off by a combined -1.5. With a -.5 to 1.9 (6+), the string of up or flat trends for Cumulus Media-owned KBER ends at three (1.9 – 2.2 – 2.2 – 2.4, 6+) with "Utah's Rock Station" dropping from #17 to #18.
9)
Las Vegas – Owing to a strong +1.3 (3.9 – 5.2, 6+),
iHeartMedia's KWNR "New Country 95.5 The Bull" charges
from tenth to sixth. It was exactly one year ago that Vegas' "Bull" last reached a five-share (June 2015, 5.0, 6+). With its fourth straight up-trend for a combined +2.5 (2.9 – 3.4 – 4.3 – 4.6 – 5.4, 6+),
Faith Communications contemporary Christian KSOS "SOS Radio For Life" continues to be on a roll, progressing from seventh to fourth. Up by lucky seven-tenths each are
Univision Radio Spanish contemporary KRGT "Latino Mix
99.3″ (1.5 – 2.2, #20 to #18, 6+) and public KCNV "Classical 89.7," which doubles its .7 to 1.4 (6+) to finish at #22; KCNV was without an increase the past four sweeps (1.6 – 1.5 – 1.1 -.7 -.7, 6+). Seven-tenths though proves to be
unlucky for iHeartMedia adult contemporary KSNE, which falters by that margin (8.1 – 7.4,
-.7, 6+) but is #1 for the
22nd straight time. "Sunny" picked up four-tenths in April to put an end to three straight declines which resulted in an approximately 55% erosion of its 6+-share (15.7 – 7.8 – 7.2 – 7.1, 6+) and then added six-tenths in May.
Beasley Media Group's classic hits-oldies KKLZ regresses by six-tenths (6.1 – 5.5, 6+) and is in the runner-up slot for the sixth successive sweep, but now
shares it with
Lotus-owned classic rock KXPT "97.1 "The Point," which hasn't had a decrease in the past five sweeps (4.4 – 4.7 – 4.9 – 5.3 – 5.5 – 5.5, 6+). Up or flat the past four ratings periods, including healthy back-to-back increases of +.9 in April and +1.1 in May, KXPT cluster-mate KOMP "92.3 The Rock Station" surrenders May's +1.1 in its entirety and freefalls from fifth to ninth (2.7 – 2.8 – 2.8 – 3.7 – 4.8 – 3.7, 6+). Prior to May, the last time KOMP reached the four-share level (6+) was August 2013 (4.3). Declining by nine-tenths (4.0 – 3.1, 6+), Univision Radio regional Mexican KISF "Zona MX 103.5" falls out of the top ten (#9 to #13).
10)
Kansas City – Powered by a gain of one full-share (4.9 – 5.9, 6+),
Carter Broadcast Corporation urban contemporary
KPRS "Hot 103" jumps from fifth to second. It is the finest 6+-showing for "Hot 103" since October's 6.4. Not only does
Cumulus Media classic rock KCFX "The Fox" repeat at #1, it posts its third straight increase for a cumulative +1.5 (5.9 – 6.4 – 6.8 – 7.4, 6+). Also improving by six-tenths is
Entercom alternative KRBZ "96.5 The Buzz" (sixth to fifth), which has its fourth successive sweep without a decrease
(4.4 – 4.5 – 4.8 – 4.8 – 5.4, 6+) and best 6+-stat since last July's 6.1. Returning the nine-tenths it gained in May (and one-tenth more), Cumulus Media adult hits KCJK "Jack" plummets from a three-way deadlock at #8 to #15 (3.6 – 4.5 – 3.5,
-1.0, 6+). With a -.9 to 5.3 (6+), co-owned classic hits-oldies KCMO-FM has its successive string of up or flat trends ended at four (5.2 – 5.4- 6.0 – 6.2 – 6.2, 6+). On top in February, March, and April – Entercom hot AC KZPT dropped to second in May and to third in June. In the last two sweeps, "99.7 The Point" is a combined -1.2 (6.9 – 6.2 – 5.7, 6+). Cluster-mate KCSP "610 Sports" follows up big gains in April (+1.4) and May (+.9) by being flat (2.4 – 3.8 – 4.7 – 4.7, 6+) as the
Kansas City Royals flagship remains at #7; it finished at #19 in March. Country stations rank #11 (
Steel City Media's KBEQ "Q-104 #1 for New Country," 4.1 – 4.3, +.2, 6+); #12 (co-owned KFKF "Country 94.1," 3.7 – 3.9, +.2, 6+); and #13 (Entercom's WDAF "106.5 The Wolf," 4.2 – 3.8, -.4, 6+). "The Wolf" was +1.1 in May; "Q-104" was +.5; and "Country 94.1" was -.6.
11)
Orlando – As noted above, (Wednesday) June 15 was the final day of the June 2016 survey period. That is particularly significant
for Orlando ratings information as it was on (Sunday morning) June 12, when a 29-year-old American security guard killed 49 people and wounded 53 others at an Orlando nightclub. Just several days later, an alligator at a
Walt Disney resort killed a two-year-old boy. Among talk outlets,
Cox Media Group's WDBO-FM gains
four-tenths to 4.0 (6+), but actually slips from #10 to #11;
iHeartMedia's WTKS is flat at 3.5 (6+) moving from #12 to #13; public WMFE is up three-tenths to 2.3, climbing from #15 to #14 (6+); and iHeartMedia-owned WFLF is off three-tenths to 1.4 (6+) but stays at #16. WDBO-FM and WMFE were each -.5 in May, while WTKS and WFLF were both flat. Busting out from a string of three consecutive monthlies without a gain (4.8 – 3.9 – 3.5 – 3.5, 6+), Cox Media Group rhythmic CHR WPYO "Power 95.3" dials up a +1.1 to 4.6 (6+) and cracks the top ten (#12 to #8).
