Survey: Consumers Don't Seek Out FM On Cellphones

A new survey from Mark Ramsey Media and VIP Research found that the vast majority -- 88 percent -- of consumers did not look specifically for an on-board FM radio the last time they shopped for a mobile phone. Only 4 percent reported that they looked for FM. Says MRM's Ramsey, "FM radio is simply not a feature that motivates decision-making about which mobile phone to buy."
