Responding to a statement from an analyst that Mike Huckabee isn't performing as well as had hoped, Lew Dickey, shot right back stating, "I take issue with your premise that Huckabee isn't going as well as we had hoped. Our team has done an excellent job of getting him cleared. We're off to a good start with the Governor. This is a marathon. We are solidly behind this." As Cumulus expands its talk network content, Governor Mike Huckabee and Geraldo are the two anchor talents, so far, that the company is building off of. Dickey says the company is in negotiations with other talent and additional announcements will be made soon.
