Stardome Radio Networks and The Associated Press have launched a local market top-of-the-hour news service for Spanish-language stations. The content will feature local, state, and regional headline newscasts, local sports news, and business news, all voiced in Spanish. Under the agreement, Stardome will produce the newscasts using the AP?s news content reported by its network of journalists. Stardome also will distribute and sell network advertising for the product.

Stardome CEO Anthony Hernandez said, ?It has always been Stardome?s desire as a Spanish-language radio network content provider to super-serve our affiliates with compelling local content. Our connection with AP will accomplish this. AP is a 167-year-old institution of excellence in journalism. We are humbled by their approach to work with Stardome in such an ambitious, yet much needed, content business for the Hispanic radio industry. We look forward to the years ahead in providing this excellent resource to Spanish-language radio stations.?
