Clear Channel Announces New WOR Lineup

WOR will start the day with the "Elliot In The Morning" Show when the station revamps its format in 2014. The "Elliot in the Morning" show is currently heard on Washington DC's WWDC ­ DC101 ­and Richmond's WRXL. Elliot Segal talks sports, music, culture, news, and entertainment. He will move his show to New York City and continue to be heard on DC101 and WRXL.

"I'm excited to be coming back to New York, to a station with such a legendary history," said Segal. "We have built something very special in Washington, DC, and Richmond, and I'm beyond thrilled that the show will continue airing on DC/101 and XL-102. Now, WOR will be home to 'Elliot In The Morning' and I couldn't be more anxious to get going."

As previously announced, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, will be heard on WOR beginning January 1 in mid-day, with Limbaugh broadcasting from noon to 3 p.m. and Hannity from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  

Here is the full WOR 2014 line-up:
?         Elliot in the Morning 6 a.m. ­- 10 a.m.
?         Mark Simone 10 a.m. ­- Noon
?         Rush Limbaugh Noon ­- 3 p.m.
?         Sean Hannity 3p.m. ­- 6 p.m.
?         Andy Dean 6 p.m. -­ 9 p.m.
?         Dave Ramsey 9 p.m. ­- Midnight
?         The Joan Hamburg Show (Saturdays & Sundays) 10 a.m. - Noon

In addition, as announced last month, WOR will also become the flagship radio station of the New York Mets beginning 2014. The station will broadcast The Mets' Spring Training, regular season, and post-season games as well as the team's pre- and post-game shows. Beyond broadcasting the games on WOR, the alliance includes Mets-related programming and promotion through all of Clear Channel's multi-platform media assets, including radio, digital, outdoor, and its music/entertainment events.
