On the heels of its announcement that it would be providing interactive mobile apps for Beasley Broadcasting comes another deal for Clip, this one with Digity. Clip will develop interactive mobile radio apps for 68 Digity stations in 16 markets, beginning with San Jose, CA. Digity CEO Dean Goodman said, ?It is more important than ever for radio stations to optimize their mobile strategies to better engage their listeners and offer an additional return on investment for advertisers and local businesses. After extensive research, we determined that Clip Interactive has the most comprehensive technology and has proven that their innovative interactive platform can deliver measurable results to our radio stations, advertisers, and listeners.?
Clip radio-powered apps will go live in San Jose in October, while the remainder of the apps will roll out in early 2015. The interactive radio apps, which have proven to increase radio station advertising revenue by offering new opportunities and incentives for advertisers and local businesses, will significantly help increase listener engagement for Digity stations.
