The satellite radio company says it now expects to add a net 1.45 million new subscribers this year, up from 1.25 million. CEO Jim Meyer says, "The company is executing extremely well, and with this summer's strong new-car sales, we now expect to comfortably exceed our previous subscriber target." The company continues to expect net self-pay subscriber additions of approximately 1.25 million in 2014.
Additionally, SiriusXM reaffirmed its recently increased 2014 financial guidance. Revenue is expected to be about $4.1 billion, with free cash flow of $1.1 billion.
