On Friday, Curtis Media Group launched a new station dedicated to Bluegrass music on WFNL 102.3 FM. Prior to the change, WFNL was "The Pulse." The International Bluegrass Music Association relocated their annual convention and music festival to Raleigh in 2013. The weeklong event begins today and includes a business conference, workshops, awards program and performances. Curtis Media Group Executive VP Trip Savery said, ?Our commitment to Bluegrass started when WPTF hired Flatt & Scruggs in 1952. We are very proud to bring a part of our heritage back to the airwaves.?
