Trace Adkins has lost his Brentwood, Tenn., house to a fire that began early Saturday morning.
According to WSMV, the country star's wife Rhonda was not at home at the time of the blaze, but the couple's three children and the nanny were evacuated safely.
A spokesperson for Adkins said in a statement, "The home Trace Adkins shares with his family has been lost in a fire that began early Saturday evening," Thankfully, Mr. Adkins, his wife Rhonda and their three daughters are unharmed. The blaze spread rapidly but was quickly contained and did not spread to any other homes."
Adkins, who was also a finalist on "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2008, was flying to Alaska to perform when the fire started. He received the news upon landing and immediately booked a flight home.
"Trace wishes to express his gratitude for the immediate response of the Brentwood Fire Department and is humbled by the outpouring of concern from friends and fans," his spokesperson said.
