With hopes of eventually getting on radio stations all across the country Jack Abramoff, with help from Premiere, has launched a 3-hour talk show on Sirius XM. Yesterday we spoke to Abramoff about his new show, his new book, his time in prison and why he thinks people will listen to what he has to say. Listen to our INTERVIEW HERE
Abramoff says he may be the nation's most controversial host because "I was actually involved in the things we talk about on the show." In 2006, Abramoff was sentenced to six years in federal prison for mail fraud, conspiracy to bribe public officials and tax evasion. He served four years before being released in December 2010.
In November 2011, he released his first book Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption from America?s Most Notorious Lobbyist.
