TVB Study Shows Digital Impact On Various Media Outlets


Radio's Reach Remains Strong
A new study from TVB shows radio is 3rd on a list of media choices, trailing TV and the Internet, but ranking ahead of newspapers, mobile phones, magazines and tablets. The annual Media Comparisons study, conducted by KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS, shows digital's impact on all media, with radio down from 60.6% reach in 2010 to 58.8% reach in 2012.
Radio's reach across various demos also ranked third, with adults 25-54 its strongest demo.
13-17      56.9%

18-34      59.7%
18-49      62.3%
25-49      64.4%
25-54      65.3%
35-64      63.2%
65+         44.1%
The survey also found that radio has less difference in use between men and women that the others studies.
