The announcement comes from the buyer, Zoe Communications, who has signed a letter of intent to purchase Hubbard Broadcasting's WIXK-AM in New Richmond. An LMA for the station agreement begins Monday. Zoe Communications also owns WDMO-FM in New Richmond, giving the company an AM/FM combo. The company says it will retain the full-time employees currently working at WIXK-AM.

But as we expand our radio footprint in major markets throughout the U.S. we felt it was the right time to pass along this wonderful New Richmond radio station to a broadcaster who is focused on Western Wisconsin. We have great employees at WIXK-AM who will continue to serve communities and clients in the St. Croix River Valley.?
