Radio One has hired Mary K. Schmitt to program Old School, WOSF and Praise/WQNC/WPZS in Charlotte. Schmitt has been programming Urban Radio since 1999 having spent about 15 years with Cox in Birmingham and most recently with Cox in Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. Regional Vice President Gary Weiss says, "Mary K has worked with some of radio?s legendary Urban Programmers learning a lot along the way. She has boundless energy and enthusiasm."
