WNIL-AM is now the official property of Marion Williams, who purchased the station from Pathfinder Communications Corporation of Mishawaka, IN for $225,000. Pathfinder owns and operates other stations in Indiana and Michigan. Marion Williams owns WSMK(FM) in Buchanan, Michigan and also owns stations in Mississippi and Georgia. WNIL operates on 1290 kHz with 500 watts, daytime, 44 watts at night, and has a talk format. George W. Kimble of the Tucson office of Kozacko Media Services was the exclusive broker on this deal.
