80% of sales of music in Sweden is coming from streaming , and paid digital downloads amount to next to nothing, according to a new report on Music Business Worldwide. Digital downloads are just 3.8% of the market, vinyl and CD sales even eclypse digital download purcahses. Sweden has long been ahead of the curve with streaming, Spotify started its service in Sweden, and SoundCloud is headquartered in the country.
