SFX has moved its Beatport streaming service into a free offering with no ads, becoming a partner with T-Mobile's Music Freedom program, allowing streaming without using up 4G data. Robert F.X. Sillerman, founder, CEO, and executive chairman of the board is aiming to take the company private. Sillerman has offered to buy the majority of shares he doesn't own for $4.75 per share in cash, reports Forbes. Shares of SFX were trading 32 percent higher on Wednesday.
