Alan Hahn and former Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro are the permanent replacement for the recently departed Mike Lupica at ESPN New York. They take over weekdays noon to 3 p.m. moving up from their 7 – 10 p.m. slot. DiPietro said after spending 13 years as a professional athlete, ESPN New York has given me the opportunity to do what I love most, talk sports. "Alan and I have had one goal since we started together, and that is to keep our listeners informed and entertained. Like we always say there will be no excuses and we will talk sports like champions."
