As we've been reporting consistently for the past several months, while nothing has been done by the FCC to improve the AM band, the Commission is now considering a plan that does not include exactly what AM broadcasters say they need to survive, a window for FM translators exclusively for them. Broadcast attorney David Oxenford breaks the issue down and sums it up in his latest blog. He believes a decision could be made at any time.
