The deal between the two companies is an extension of an agreement that's been in place since 2009. It's for SiriusXM's Connected Vehicle Service, which gives customers access to a suite of safety, security, and convenience services including automatic crash notification, enhanced roadside assistance, remote door unlock, remote start, stolen vehicle recovery assistance and turn-by-turn navigation.
