Cadillac Jack Joins Greater Media Boston

As the format wheel continues to turn at WTKK in Boston, Greater Media has picked up veteran programmer Cadillac Jack McCartney. The station was "Mike, " playing everything on Friday and Classic Rock on Sunday. McCartney was most recently VP of Programming at Clear Channel in New York City, where he was responsible for Z100-FM, WLTW-FM, WKTU-FM, WAXQ-FM, and WWPR-FM.

For Greater Media, he will oversee WTKK, WMJX-FM, WKLB-FM, WBOS-FM, and WROR-FM. McCartney spent over 20 years working in Boston radio in the 1990s and 2000s, programming both JAM?N 94.5 and KISS 108, and overseeing the entire Clear Channel Boston cluster for a decade through 2010, the last three years of which he also programmed WWPR-FM/Power 105.1 in NYC.

New Cadillac CUE System to Feature Pandora

Pandora announced yesterday that Cadillac is its latest automotive partners. Cadillac announced the launch of its new CUE (Cadillac User Experience) system, featuring Pandora, at the CTIA Wireless Association's Enterprise and Applications conference in San Diego. Pandora will be incorporated into the Cadillac CUE system, which will be in the upcoming XTS and ATS luxury sedans and will be a feature of all future Cadillac vehicles beginning in 2012.

CUE will support Android, BlackBerry and iPhone smartphones.
