Entercom distributed a press release Monday detailing new benefits employees will start receiving in 2016. Each employee will get a half-day off each quarter when they volunteer for a non-profit organization. Every employee will be able to purchase Entercom stock at a 15% discount through a payroll deduction plan. And each employee that has a student loan, and has graduated within the past eight years, will receive $1,000 per calendar year to pay down that loan. CBS Radio President Andre Fernandez has named Michael Simon Senior Advisor for Data Analytics and Political Advocacy. Simon led the Obama presidential campaign's analytics team. CBS says Simon will work closely with senior management to enhance CBS Radio's overall data analytics capabilities, as well as create new data-driven ad products and strategies for political campaigns, candidates, and related committees and organizations.
