Former KHKX, Midland-Odessa Personality Mike Lawrence Dies. Longtime KHKX morning drive personality Mike Lawrence – half of the "Mike and Dana Show" with spouse Dana Carole – died unexpectedly on Saturday (5/21) in New Mexico. The husband-and-wife team of Lawrence and Carole worked together for 25 years and are to be enshrined in the Country Radio Hall of Fame on June 22. They retired from the business in 2014.

Formerly known as rhythmic hot AC "95.7 Kiss FM," iHeartMedia San Diego's KSSX transitioned to rhythmic CHR late Friday (5/27) and now utilizes "Jam'n 95.7 – Today's Hip Hop and R&B" as its handle.
