kinosianmikePPM Analysis: Classic Rock.  RadioInfo managing editor Mike Kinosian presents the third of three analyses of the performances of stations airing gold-based formats, based on data from Nielsen Audio's April PPM survey.  Previously, we published reports on the classic hits-oldies and here formats.  One chart in this report measures 6+ ratings fluctuations from a year ago (April 2015) compared this year.  Hubbard Radio's KSLX, Phoenix shot up two full shares during the year to jump from #8 in the market to #2.  Just two stations in PPM markets ranked #1 in their respective markets in April – both are Entercom-owned stations: KQMT, Denver and KSEG, Sacramento.  In this report you'll also find a chart comparing the performances of classic rock stations, classic hits-oldies outlets and adult hits stations.  See Kinosian's entire report here.
