Danny O'Neil Joins Brock Huard in Seattle

ESPN Seattle announced sports journalist Danny O?Neil is joining ESPN broadcaster Brock Huard to form the ?Brock & Danny Show? on 710 ESPN Seattle (KIRO AM) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. O?Neil will also write a daily Seattle-focused sports column/blog on 710Sports.com. During the NFL season, O?Neil will cover the Seattle Seahawks.

O?Neil, a Puget Sound area sports reporter and columnist, most recently worked at The Seattle Times. Since 1999, Danny has focused on Seattle-based sports teams as a reporter, columnist and beat reporter for the Sonics and Seahawks. During his sports writing career, O?Neil worked at The Seattle Times, on three occasions during a 12-year period from 1996-97; 1999-2002; 2006-2013, and wrote for ESPN.com (1997-99) and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (2002-06).

Chris O'Neil Gets PD Gig in Upstate N.Y.

Froggy 107.1 (WFFG-FM), owned by Queensbury-based Adirondack Broadcasting, has hired Chris O?Neil as Program Director. He starts on August 13th. O?Neil joins WFFG from Cat Country (WJEN-FM) in Vermont where he was afternoon host and Promotions Director.

O?Neil began his career in radio as an intern at WORK/WSNO in his hometown of Barre, VT in 1997. He left Vermont to attend The New England School of  Communications in 1998. Soon after, O?Neil joined Clear Channel in Bangor, ME and was Midday host on WGUY, Nights on WBFB and  overnights on WWBX.

Lauren O'Neil Joins Merlin in Chicago

Merlin Media says O?Neil has been hired to fill one of the remaining on-air positions at Alternative WKQX-FM. She starts July 16th. O'Neil travels north from Tampa where she was most recently part of the Kage Kult Show on WXTB. ?I am so excited to start this new chapter at Q87.7 with such a great group of dudes! I just hope they won't cry too hard when I drink them all under the table!?
