2011 Predictions
At Radio Ink's Forecast 2011, Wells Fargo Securities Director/Equity Research Marci Ryvicker moderates a panel on "Economic Forecasting: Revenue Expectations for 2011."
In these confusing and still-tumultous economic times, this panel of experts will look at the recovery -- is it real, and will it last? -- the impact of the just-held November elections, and the future of radio revenues. Including the question on most people's minds: where new revenues are most likely to come from, and what segments are ready to grow.
Moderator: Marci Ryvicker, Director/Equity Research, Wells Fargo Securities, is one of the most respected equity analysts covering the media industry, and a co-chair of Forecast 2011. She's known for her thoughtful and incisive take on the media business and is frequently quoted in the financial and mainstream press.
Panelists:
Bishop Cheen, Senior Analyst, Wells Fargo Securities, covers investments in media/cable/entertainment and telecom companies. He's written books for the NAB and for Paul Kagan Associates on valuing media assets and investments and is one of the most well regarded media-industry analysts.
Robin Flynn, Senior VP of Kagan Media Appraisals, specializes in radio and TV consulting and valuations. She's also a senior analyst and Associate Director at SNL Kagan and a contributor to such newsletters as Broadcast Investor and Kagan Media Money.
Jack Myers, Media Economist, Myers Publishing, is editor and publisher of the JackMyers Media Business report, read by more than 30,000 senior executives in advertising and media every day. He works with companies through a proprietary advisory work and the JackMyers Media Network.
Stu Olds, CEO, Katz Media Group, is a 30-year company veteran who oversees Katz Radio Group, Clear Channel Radio Sales, and other divisions of the radio industry's leading rep firm. He's headed Katz as CEO since 2000.

Keynoting Forecast 2011 will be Arianna Huffington, best-selling author and co-founder/Editor of the Huffington Post, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, chief mergers and acquisitions reporter for the New York Times and host of United Stations Radio Networks' "Business Brief With Andrew Ross Sorkin."
