Randy Michaels Resigns
As expected, Tribune Co. CEO Randy Michaels has resigned, the Chicago Tribune reports. The resignation was predicted earlier this week by the New York Times -- the same paper whose highly critical front-page story began weeks of controversy around Michaels and Tribune management as Tribune attempts to finalize its long and contentious bankruptcy proceedings. Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the influential Huffington Post and co-host of public radio's Left, Right & Center, will provide the luncheon keynote at Radio Ink's Forecast 2011, to be held December 7, 2010 at the Harvard Club in New York. Huffington, the author of 13 books including most recently On Becoming Fearless in Love, Work, and Life and Fanatics and Fools: The Game Plan for Winning Back America, launched the Huffington Post news and blog site in 2005. |
