The NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show will feature Nashville recording artist Ronnie Dunn with a full band performance. The performance, sponsored by Patrick Communications, will occur on Thursday, September 15 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, the venue for the 2011 Radio Show, produced by the NAB and RAB.
Dunn's self-titled debut solo album hit #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart upon its June 7th release. A combination of hard country and hard rock with a healthy serving of down home gospel soul, the album was "one of the year's most impressive country releases," according to The New York Times.
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio. Winners will be announced at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show, hosted by Premier Networks' Elvis Duran.
