Clear Channel confirmed Thursday night that Steve Borneman will be joining the company as part of the senior management team in New York City. Borneman was the Market Manager for the Cumulus cluster that includes WPLJ-FM and WABC-AM. Cumulus recently announced the purchase of WFME-FM. Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey says a search is underway for a new manager for the New York cluster and for now the stations are in good hands with strong department heads. Clear Channel has a cluster of five in New York plus it just picked up WOR-AM.
