Nielsen tracked Twitter activity during the big game and says the one commercial Esurance aired called "Esurance Save 30," was tweeted about over 1.8 million times. Coming in second on the Twitter-meter was Budweiser with 393 thousand tweets, followed by T-Moble with 303 thousand, H&M with 269 thousand and The Transformers with 269 thousand. Overall Nielsen says there were 5.6 million unique people tweeting about the game and they generated over 25 million tweets.
