The Sacramento morning show appeard to be headed to Clear Channel after a breakdown in contract negotiations with Entercom. The trio has been with 98 Rock since 1999 and the two sides apprently buried the hatchet Monday and signed a new deal. A press release late Monday stated the show will air on Entercom's 98 ROCK (KRXQ-FM) for another five years.
Host Rob Williams created Williams Broadcasting as a separate entity to syndicate the show, which is now heard on four west coast stations. Williams was also negotiating with Clear Channel and Entercom was supposed to be able to match any offer, which clearly it has to the liking of Rob, Arnie and Dawn who have signed on the dotted line.
