What features are consumers looking for with connected car tech and which features are least likely to excite drivers? Nielsen's latest report is aiming to answer some of those questions. The research seems a bit of a mixed bag, with over 75% of connected car users believing that having the tech is revolutionary, however 41% say it's distracting and about a third say it's more of a hassle than it's worth.
The features we seem to like the most: vehicle to driver communication, voice activated controls, Internet navigation, personal assistant, Internet connectivity and mobile apps. The graphics below tells the tale.
