Jose Alejandro Aguilar, who has been operating a pirate radio station in Louisville on 87.5 and 99.5 FM, has been penalized by the FCC $15,000. A Forfeiture Order order against Aguilar was adopted on Thursday, after he ignored FCC warnings to stop broadcasting via his unlicensed transmitter. Aguilar has thirty days to pay the penalty or the case may be turned over to the U.S. Department of Justice for enforcement.
