According to numerous reports from Philadelphia newspapers, WPEN-FM/ 97.5 The Fanatic will have a new live and local morning show as of next Monday, hosted by former WIP afternoon sports talker Anthony Gargano. The show's co-host will be midday personality John Marks. The new show would replace ESPN's syndicated Mike & Mike in the Morning.
Gargano had been on WIP for 15 years, exiting at the end of this past December. This would be WPEN-FM's first local morning show.
