That's the question Edison Research President Larry Rosin asks in his most recent blog posting. Edison has been tracking online listening since 1998 when listening to audio online was still in its infancy. Today, according to Edison's latest Infinite Dial study, people are well aware of online audio brands. They can name just under five of them with Pandora being the most popular. The 18-24 demo can name six online audio brands. From the 2000 people in the Infinite Dial study, 85% know at least one online audio brand.
