John Valenta (pictured) was indicted on 12 counts of theft he allegedly made over seven years at WDCB-FM at the College of DuPage, some of which were made while on probation for stealing from another local college. According to theChicago Tribune Valenta stole more than $100,000 through late 2013 by submitting phony invoices from his private company, Broadcast Technologies, for materials and services the college never received. WDCB is a jazz station supported by tax dollars and listener donations.
