Broadcasting & Cable has the details about the federal court canceling oral arguments which were set for Wednesday after numerous delays. The NAB has argued that the Commission had a statutory responsibility to make a decision on whether existing rules limiting station ownership were still necessary. The NAB says the FCC evaded its obligation by rolling the the review into a 2014 proceeding. The reason the courts are involved is the group Prometheus challenged deregulation over a decade ago.
