In its newly released U.S. Local Advertising Forecast 2016, BIA/Kelsey projects total local advertising revenues in the U.S. to increase 3.75 percent to $146.6 billion in 2016, up from $141.3 billion this year. The big gainer again is digital. BIA/Kelsey projects online revenue to grow 29.1 percent of the total local media pie to $42.6 billion next year.
