Last week we reported on a new agreement between KMG Networks and Grabien, the two-year old online marketplace for edited, crowd-sourced news clips. The website helps make life easier for talk show producers who spend tons of wasted time searching for news clips for their hosts. The site compiles hundreds of clips by topic such as "Trump" or "Iran" or "Rubio." Talk stations can grab the clips, depending on what their hosts are talking about, and quickly air them on their show. Grabien is the brainchild of Tom Elliot who has a lot of experience in the talk world, having worked for Laura Ingrahm among others. We had an opportunity to talk to both Elliot and KMG CEO Gary Krantz about the product and how it can help stations. Here's our interview.
