Sirius XM Radio says Florida Georgia Line will perform at The Troubadour in Los Angeles at an exclusive invitation-only concert for SiriusXM listeners on Monday, November 25. The private concert will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET via satellite on The Highway, channel 59, and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

The CBS radio app Radio.com is the official sponsor of this pool party being held in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan, August 17. Robin Thicke, Jason Derulo, and Sammy Adams will perform at the event being called the "Summer Pool Fiesta." The event will be streamed on Radio.com and YouTube. CBS stations nationwide are giving listeners complimentary access to the show, with many receiving a trip to Las Vegas including travel and accommodations at the Cosmopolitan.

In cooperation with NBC-TV, Dial Global will provide a radio simulcast of tonight's ?Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert? airing live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City (9pm ET). The concert and telethon, which sold out in :30 seconds, was organized by Country star and Oklahoma native Blake Shelton, who will headline the event. Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Usher, and Ryan Tedder from One Republic are also performing.
Dial Global is offering the simulcast to all of its Country radio affiliates and to every country radio station in the US, in addition to radio stations of all formats in Tornado Alley. ?Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert? is set to raise money to aid victims of the deadly tornado that ripped through Moore, Oklahoma on Monday, May 20. The tornado killed at least 24 people, injured hundreds, and damaged houses, hospitals, and schools in both Moore and Oklahoma City. Funds will go to the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

On November 24, Multiple Latin Grammy winning superstars Juanes and Juan Luis will perform at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn and donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the American Red Cross. One reason Entravision had a big 3rd quarter (see story below) was one of the company's most successful annual events. Entravision hosts one of the largest Latin music events in the United States. This year was the 14th year the concert was held and the first year the company incorporated Facebook in its strategy to sell tickets, according to Entravision CEO Walter Ulloa. It was also a record year for national sponsorships at the show which featured the most popular Latin Rock bands in the format who played to over 13,000 fans for over 6 hours at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Entravision incorporated its Facebook page by asking listeners to "like" them on the Social Media site. Listeners would then receive a pre-sale code for tickets to the show. Entravision sold half its tickets to the Staples Center concert via this Facebook promotion. The event was completely sold out in 6 hours. Major sponsorships were sold to Budweiser, McDonalds, AT&T and Toyota. Ulloa says it was a record year for sponsorships.
This year 12 million Latinos will vote according to Ulloa. That is a 25% increase in the total from 2008. In 2012 Entravision expects to generate $16 million in political advertising (including its Television properties), an increase of 107% from four years ago. Ulloa believes the Latino population may very well decide who sits in the White House when it's all said and done next week. The company has properties in Nevada, Colorado, Florida and Virginia. All are considered very important states in this election.

Clear Channel will be announcing the lineup for the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this morning at 9AM. Ryan Seacrest will be making the announcement, across Clear Channel stations. The event will be held September 21st and 22nd in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.

Clear Channel says Coldplay will perform live at a special iHeartRadio Benefit Concert Wednesday, Feb. 8th at Club Nokia at L.A. LIVE. Proceeds will benefit A Place Called Home and Youth Mentoring Connection, two Los Angeles based youth charities. Senior VP of Programming John Ivey (pictured) says ?It?s a special scenario for the Los Angeles radio stations and iHeartRadio to have an opportunity to collaborate with Coldplay to support the work of two great local organizations that directly impact the LA community. Coldplay in this intimate setting will be an amazing experience for the audience, plus concert-goers will be helping support LA?s at-risk youth.?
The iHeartRadio benefit concert will be presented by Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Los Angeles radio stations KIIS FM, 98-7fm and MYFM. Pandora has launched a new series of free, live concerts which will debut December 13th in Portland, Oregon, The first band to be featured will be Dawes from Southern California. Invitations for this new series are being sent based on each listener's musical preferences on Pandora, such as stations they have created and songs they have thumbed-up. Pandora data shows that Portland-area listeners are 25 percent more likely to enjoy a Dawes song and 30 percent more likely to create a Dawes station on Pandora than listeners in any other U.S. city.
Pandora Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren said, "Connecting artists and their fans is a central part of our mission at Pandora and we bring some very unique capabilities to that task. Our data shows that Dawes has a sizeable potential audience in Portland and we're excited to help bring them together."
Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes said, "As we have traveled the country, we often hear from our listeners that they discovered us on Pandora. We are excited that, now, through this new concert series, we'll get to connect in person."
Pandora listeners can look forward to more of these types of concerts in different cities across the country in 2012. The Portland event, for people who are 21 years of age and up, is presented to Pandora listeners free of charge. The show will take place at Portland's Mississippi Studios.
