Jack Diamond To Host Mornings In Miami

9-14-13

Lincoln Financial Media announced today that veteran broadcast personality Jack Diamond has been selected to host a new morning drive program on the company?s heritage adult-contemporary outlet, 101.5 LITE FM (WLYF). He succeeds Ellen Jaffe, who moves to afternoon drive. South Florida personality Julie Guy joins Diamond as co-host. Diamond comes to LITE FM following nearly 24 years of success at WRQX-FM in Washington, D.C.

Diamond's broadcast career includes decades at radio stations in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Providence, as well as previous association with LFM?s Atlanta and San Diego properties. ?Jack Diamond is a master entertainer, engaging each listener over the air, in person, and through all forms of interactive media,? said Rob Sidney, Director of Programming and Operations for WLYF. ?His experience, showmanship, and passion reflect the best of what LITE FM has built over four decades. And I'm thrilled to have Jack kicking off LITE's next era of success.?

?This is a reunion for Jack and me,? commented Maureen Lesourd, Senior Vice President and General Manager for LFM?s Miami cluster of stations. ?I brought him to D.C. and together we built one of the most successful adult-contemporary franchises in the nation. Jack's commitment to his craft and ability to relate to an audience are like none other.?

Guy has spent more than two decades at top-ranked contemporary music stations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. For the past 11 years, she anchored ?Those Two Girls in the Morning? at Miami?s WFLC.

So excited. Just moved from the DC area and had to stop listening when Jack went off the air. Glad to be able to hear him again.
