This may be somewhat of a hostile setting for Scott depending on the makeup of the crowd. Scott has vetoed nearly $4.8 million in funding for public radio and television stations across the state to save money so he may get an earful about that. However, WFSU in the state's Capitol is slated to receive nearly $3 million. That's an increase in funding for WFSU and it is spent on coverage of the Governor, the Cabinet, the Legislature and the Supreme Court. According to the St. Pete Times; The cash includes $1.8 million for the Florida Channel and $340,862 provided for closed captioning of the channel.
