Data to be released by Alan Burns and Associates tomorrow shows that women who listen to Pandora and other non-radio music streaming services do not use radio less than other women. ?In fact? Burns says , ?women who pay for music streams actually report listening to radio slightly more than most women on a daily basis. These are music lovers, and it looks like the more ways they have to listen to music, the more time they spend doing it.?
Alan Burns and Associates conducted its second annual largest-ever study of female radio listeners and will unveil the results in a series of four webinars beginning this Thursday, July 21st, presented by DMR. Over 2,000 female listeners to AC and CHR stations were interviewed regarding their attitudes toward and usage of radio, digital and social media, and their own personal priorities.
The first webinar will cover study headlines, usage and attitudes toward radio, what?s happening with in-car listening, radio?s digital competitors and radio?s own online efforts, and women?s interests. The webinar is scheduled for 2pm Eastern Thursday. To register for any or all of the free webinars click here. https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/369443800
