Backyard Price to Community Was $3.6 Million

3-13-13

Barry Drake sold off his upstate New York cluster of seven stations for $3.6 million. It was a cluster he purchased as part of a bigger deal with Sabre Communications many years before that included Muncie (also recently sold off) and Williamsport (which he still owns). The New York stations are being purchased by Community Broadcasters headed by Bruce Mittman (pictured) and Jim Leven.
