KRXQ/KKDO Station Manager Jim Fox has been promoted to Operations Manager for Entercom Sacramento. Fox will now lead the Entercom Sacramento brands, including KRXQ-98 Rock, KKDO-RADIO 94.7, 107.9 The End, KSEG-The Eagle, KBZC-Star 106.5, and KCTC-ESPN 1320AM.
He?ll work closely with Station Managers, Curtiss Johnson (KSEG), Nikki Nite (KDND/KBZC), and Brian Lopez (KCTC) to maintain and continue developing these winning brands in the Sacramento market.
Fox is a 32-year radio veteran, having worked in San Jose, Fresno, Memphis, and Fort Wayne before coming to Entercom Sacramento in 2003 to become Station Manager for KRXQ-98 Rock. In 2010, he took over a similar role and launched KKDO-RADIO 94.7 and has guided both stations to success. Fox will continue his day-to-day supervision of RADIO 94.7 and 98 Rock in addition to his new responsibilities.
