Barry Young has been in the radio industry for more than 48 years and with KFYI for the last 27. Young started his career at WGAC-AM in Augusta at the age of 14. He went on to work at WRNG in Atlanta; WFAA in Dallas; WNWS in Miami; and WJNO in West Palm Beach before finally ending up at KFYI in 1987. Young was also PD at KFYI from 1988-1998. Young?s last day on-air will be Friday November 7.
