Two weeks ago, Walgreens was radio's third-biggest advertiser. Last week, the drug store chain moved into the top slot airing over 45,000 commercials, according to Media Monitors. Following Walgreens was GEICO with 35,919 spots aired, McDonald's with 30,199, Vanda Pharmaceuticals with 30,076, and Verizon Wireless at 26,110.
